Rui Henriques is an Assistant Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, where he lectures courses in the domains of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Health Systems. Graduated (2008) and doctorate (2016) by Instituto Superior Técnico, Rui received a wide-exposure to real projects in different sectors as a business analyst at McKinsey and as the head of the AI area at Tekever. Rui is also an Integrated Researcher at INESC-ID, where he coordinates large-scale multidisciplinary R&D projects. Rui has been ascribed two scientific career awards in 2020 and 2022.
