Prof. Zhihua Wang, is a Ph.D., Professor, and vice director of the State Key Laboratory of Clean Energy Utilization, a Distinguished Young Scholar fund receiver from the Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Qiushi Distinguished professor of Zhejiang University. Prof.Wang graduated from Zhejiang University in the year 2000 in the field of Thermal Power Engineering. In 2005, he got his Ph.D. degree from Zhejiang University in the major of Thermalphysics Engineering. In 2008, his thesis got the honor of being nominated for the 100 distinguished doctoral degree thesis of China. He is also the first-level candidate of the "151" New Century Younger Exports cultivation program of Zhejiang province. From 2008 to 2010, he worked with Prof. Marcus Alden and Dr. Zhongshan Li in the Division of Combustion Physics at Lund University (Sweden) for two years as a visiting scholar. In collaboration with Prof. Alden, a joint research center called "Zhejiang University - Lund University International Center for Laser Diagnostic in Energy Science"(ICELDES) was established in 2009. Prof. Wang has published more than 260 SCI papers with a total citation of 11000+, and an h index of 54 from google scholar. One monograph written in English was published by Springer, one monograph written in Chinese by Science Publisher, and one monograph written in Chinese by Chemical Engineering Publisher. Prof. Wang has held more than 20 patents in the area of clean combustion, emission control, and hydrogen production area, with one obtaining the Golden Paten Award of Zhejiang Province. Prof. Wang got two National Awards and one Province Award for his contribution to clean combustion and emission control technology development.
