Eva Mariasole Angelin is a Researcher at the Conservation Science Department of the Deutsches Museum (Munich, Germany). She completed a Ph.D. in Conservation Science at NOVA School of Science and Technology in 2021 with a research project focused on the identification and photofading of colorants in plastic artifacts. Her research interests include the study of modern and contemporary cultural heritage, including color stability, characterization of the constitutive materials applying multi-analytical spectroscopic methods and degradation mechanisms. The photostability of polymeric materials and modern colorants has been the centre of her research. My academic achievements include 10 peer-reviewed papers in the past 4 years. Some of my SCIENTIFIC SKILLS cover: Optical Microscopy, Infrared Spectroscopy, Raman Spectroscopy, X-Ray Fluorescence, UV-Vis Absorption Spectroscopy, UV-Vis Emission Spectroscopy, Reflectance Spectroscopy, Chromatography, Radiometry, Photometry, Colorimetry.
