Artur Ferreira is a Coordinator Professor at Águeda School of Technology and Management, University of Aveiro. His research expertise and interests relate to the area of polymers; biorefineries; synthesis and characterization of materials, with particular emphasis in microporous materials; and in studies and structural determination by powder X-ray diffraction. He is author of more than 80 international refereed papers and book chapters. He has 3 registered patents. In addition, more than 80 papers and communications in conferences have been published by him. He supervised/co-supervised 3 doctoral theses and supervised/co-supervised 7 master's dissertations. He participates and/or participated as a Researcher in charge of 5 projects and a Researcher in 8 other projects. He received is PhD in Chemistry, in 1997, from the University of Aveiro and graduates in Chemical Engineering, in 1989, from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto.
