I am in the early stages of my PhD in Informatics and Computing Engineering under the guidance of Professor Miguel Mira da Silva. My area of specialisation revolves around digital risk, particularly focusing on current threats such as disinformation and fake news. My research explores the definition of concepts related to fake news, and risk mitigation strategies through the proper intervention in organisational and technological processes. In other academic achievements, I completed my Master's in Information and Enterprise Systems in November 2022, a program in partnership between the Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon and the Portuguese Open University, achieving a grade of 17/20, and developed a dissertation titled "Optimising Customer Service in the Context of a Digital Service," for which I obtain 18/20. Throughout the two years of the respective study cycle, I was awarded a Merit Diploma of Instituto Superior Técnico. Regarding my undergraduate degree, I studied Systems and Multimedia Engineering at the University of Edinburgh Napier, graduating with an Honours Degree. Professionally, I have proven experience in consultancy, having interned at ChampmanBlack Gold in London and gained professional experience at Isqsius Strategi.
