Gisela Cristina Vieira Armada holds a BSc in Biochemistry and a MSc in Health Sciences from University of Minho. Currently, GA is pursuing a PhD in Biomedicine and Health Sciences, where she is developing her doctoral project entitled "dissecting the interplay between stress and the proteostasis regulator SNX27 on the reward circuit" with a FCT Scholarship (2021.08600.BD) in the C2B Team at the Life and Health Sciences Research Institute. Throughout the last years, GA acquired expertise in circuitry and molecular biology, research methodologies, science and project management, and science outreach.
