Paula Matos (PhD student in Clinical Psychology, Cognitive-behavioral Approach) achieved the Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at the Lusófona University of Porto. Paula Matos is an effective member of the Portuguese Psychologists Association. She has developed methodological, conceptual, and research during her Master degree. She collaborated in the conduction of research projects and was responsible for managing and monitoring data collection. Paula Matos has scientific production indicators and co-authored two articles published in international journals with scientific arbitration and impact factors. Matos developed advanced competencies for scientific writing, literature review, and statistical analysis in co-authoring these articles. As a PhD student, she is a member of the INTERSECT research team in Portugal. She collaborates in monitoring the work of Master's students at HEI-Lab, with a particular focus on planning and implementation of research tasks. At the professional level has two years' experience as Clinical psychologist and one year as a Superior technician of Psychology. In this experience, the development of the skills to articulate concepts stands out as well as the skills to bridge the gap between models and theoretical concepts and their applicability in practical contexts. She also developed skills in team supervision, resulting from the reconciliation of different tasks. By participating in other projects targeting family and parenting, Paula Matos had the opportunity to deepen her knowledge and training regarding evidence-based intervention with victims of intimate partner violence.
