Ismael Casotti Rienda, completed the Erasmus Mundus Joint European Master in Environmental Studies "Cities & Sustainability" (JEMES CiSu) in the universities of Aalborg (Denmark), Aveiro (Portugal) and Autónoma de Barcelona (Spain), in 2017. Before, he had completed the bachelor degree in Environmental Sciences at the University of Granada (Spain) with mention of honour. He started his professional career in the area thourgh a reserach grant at the CESAM-University of Aveiro, as part of the ISY-AIR project in 2019. He took active part in the sampling campaign prepation, handling, analysis and data treatment, in the field of air pollution in the city of Coimbra. He conducted further reaseach in the SOPRO project, in the CESAM-University of Aveiro, wherehe is currently engaged in a PhD program in Environemental Science and Engineering. His research topic is "non-exhaust emissions in motor vehicles".
