Tânia Daniela Silva Vidal

Tânia Daniela Silva Vidal concluded her PhD in Biology in 2013 at the University of Aveiro. Since then she has been a post-doctoral researcher at CESAM - Center for Environmental and Marine Studies (University of Aveiro), granted by FCT and recently through a transiotinal regime contract with the University. Her core field of research is ecotoxicology, water quality evaluation in runing water ecosystems. So far, she published 24 SCI papers, and 4 book chapters, and has strong participation in scientific meetings presenting her work through oral or poster communications. In their professional activities, she interacted with 15 collaborator(s) as evidenced by co-authorship of scientific papers. She supervises(ed) or co-supervises(ed) 4 BSc students and 2 MSc students. She has been committed to science outreach, through activities targeted at young students (e.g. secondary school) as well as by organizing conferences. Her involvement in editorial activities ( 1 outreach journal), and in reviewing for a large range of journals.
