"I am a Ph.D. student in the field of Food Science and Nutrition. My thesis focuses on the Valorization of Lycium spp through the production of high-value food products, with a focus on extraction, screening, and quantification of natural bioactive compounds, food formulation and development, nutritional, sensory, and antioxidant activity analysis, and food matrix interactions, bioaccessibility, and bioavailability of bioactive compounds. I completed my Master's degree in Applied Biochemistry at the University of Minho, and my Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at the University of Porto, Faculty of Sciences. My expertise lies in Natural Sciences with an emphasis on Biochemistry and Agricultural and Food Biotechnology, as well as in product quality and R&D in food products."
