Rui Pinto obtained degree in Physics in 2015 and MSc degree in Sustainable Energy Systems in 2017 from the University of Aveiro. In a period of 2017-2019, he worked in the company PEDAMB - Engenharia Ambiental specializing on the analysis of pollutant gas emission, and participated in R&D project PoliTechWaste (Department of Environment and Planning, University of Aveiro) focused on the biomass gasification processes. From September 2019 to November 2020, he was a member of HEALING project team (CICECO - Aveiro Institute of Materials, Department of Materials and Ceramic Engineering, University of Aveiro) working on the self-healing approaches for solid oxide fuel cells. From 12/2020, Rui Pinto is a PhD Student enrolled in the Doctoral program in Materials Science and Engineering at the Department of Materials and Ceramic Engineering, University of Aveiro. He work on the development of composite fuel electrodes for biogas-fueled solid oxide fuel cells. As of March 2021, Rui Pinto co-authors 3 papers in peer-reviewed SCI journals and several presentations at the international scientific conferences.
