Holds a degree in Architecture issued by the FAUTL, Lisbon, 1984. In 2007, is awarded the PhD by the UPT, Oporto, having submitted her thesis “The Conception in Architecture, a four dimensional phenomenon: The human being, the drawing, the time and the built work”. Has lectured in various Universities and Architecture schools in the area of architectural drawing, since 1985, as well as undertaken the coordination of their lecturing teams. Holding the position of Associate Professor, within the Department of Drawing, Geometry and Computing at FAUTL, undertakes also the coordination of architectural drawing disciplines, across the full spectrum of the currently running courses and participates actively in the PhD course since 2010. Since 2009 | Member of the Research Center for Architecture, Urbanism and Design (CIAUD) of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon. Since 2023 | Scientific Council of the ARCHIVES research unit (CIAUD). The Conception in Architecture and Drawing are her main research subjects, having participated in events and contributed to national and international scientific publications.
