I am currently a Ph.D. student working on applying direct cell reprogramming to understand the diversity of dendritic cells and to develop strategies for patient-tailored reprogramming-based immunotherapy approaches. Besides research, I also enjoy contributing to knowledge dissemination through science communication. I have been a finalist in science communication contests like FameLab (2017) and 3-Minute Thesis (2021) in Portugal and have since then participated in several science outreach activities both in Portugal and Lund, where I am currently based. SciComm allows me to join my fascination for science with my enthusiasm for communication and public outreach, letting me share both my own and others' science stories.
