Margarida Gil de Figueiredo Carmona e Lima

Margarida Carmona e Lima, Ph.D. in Psychology (2022), has over a decade of experience in scientific research spanning educational, community, and social psychology. Currently, she is navigating a career transition into social intervention. Since May 2024, she has been working as a Victim Support Technician, where she focuses on providing psychosocial support and implementing primary prevention strategies for domestic violence. Her scholarly work centers on how inclusive identities - such as global citizenship and identification with all humanity - can foster more inclusive, prosocial, and empowering communities. She remains connected to academic research as a collaborator with the Identification With All Humanity Lab, contributing to cross-cultural studies on global identities. Her background includes extensive experience organizing scientific conferences and working as part of the editorial team for Psicologia, a peer-reviewed journal, in collaboration with the Portuguese Association of Psychology. She earned her Psychology degree from the University of Aveiro (2006-2009) and an MSc in Social and Organizational Psychology from ISCTE-IUL (2009-2011).
