Eurico Pedrosa is a Junior Researcher at IEETA/UA. His current research covers intelligent robotics with applications in the fields of robotic navigation, industrial robotics, sensory fusion and machine learning. Eurico has an MSc in Computers and Telematics and a PhD in Computer Sciences (MAPi), both from the University of Aveiro. In 2020, he joined the Intelligent Robotics and Systems (IRIS) group at IEETA/UA as a Junior Researcher. His work focuses on the research and development of intelligent robotic systems for human assistance, namely robotic navigation with social components, assisted arm manipulation, and localization and mapping algorithms. Eurico has actively contributed to numerous projects as a team member on nine projects. Currently, he is the principal investigator in a research project under the PRR program. Eurico is the author and co-author of 31 scientific publications in journals, conference and book chapters. Throughout his career, he has supervised/co-supervised or collaborated in the supervision of 26 MSc students. Currently, he is the co-supervisor of two PhD students. Additionally, he has taught practical classes, organized scientific meetings, participated as a member of several MSc juries, and reviewed papers for several journals.
