Carlos Martins

Carlos Martins is a 28-year-old electronic engineer, graduated from the University of Minho. Master in PowerElectronics and Energy Systems at GEPE, concluded in 2021. Nowadays, developing research activities at Centro ALGORITMI Research Centre, University of Minho, being a member of the Group of Energy and PowerElectronics since 2018. Working as a Research Fellow in the project "PV4SUSTAINABILITY Photovoltaic System for Sustainable Irrigation of Family Agricultural Production Units and Training of YoungPeople and Women in Boane District, Maputo Province", financed by the Portuguese Fundação para a Ciênciae a Tecnologia. His R&D investigation line is focused on the development of Power Electronics Solutions applied to isolated power grids, electrical mobility, renewables and energy storage systems,. Besides these research areas, has an interest in themes such as smart grids, smart cities, and smart homes.
