Diana Moreira holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and a Master's degree in Forensic/Justice Psychology. She is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Portuguese Catholic University - Regional Center of Braga and collaborates with other universities as a guest lecturer. Since 2012, she has been a researcher at the Neuropsychophysiology Laboratory of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Porto. She has participated in three projects: "Intertemporal decision-making and time perception in psychopathy: A neuropsychophysiological study [Tomada de decisão intertemporal e perceção do tempo na psicopatia: Um estudo neuropsicofisiológico]," "Portuguese Scholar for Innovation," and "Temporal mapping of information flow during preference-based decisions: A study using EEG and markers [Mapeamento temporal do fluxo de informação durante decisões envolvendo preferências: Um estudo com EEG e marcas]," with the first two projects being funded. She serves as a reviewer for various prestigious international journals (ISI) and has been involved in organizing several national and international conferences. She collaborates in the editing of journals and scientific publications and is a member of the European Society for Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience (ESCAN), the Association for Psychological Science, and the Portuguese Society of Psychiatry and Psychology of Justice. Additionally, she has authored seven book chapters and approximately forty publications, both national and international (many of which are ISI, quartile 1). She is a (Neuro)Psychologist and Clinical and Forensic Psychologist at the Institute of Psychology and Neuropsychology of Porto (IPNP).
