Diana Moreira é doutorada em Psicologia e mestre em Psicologia Forense/Justiça. É Professora auxiliar convidada na Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Centro Regional de Braga e colabora com outras Universidades como Professora convidada. É investigadora no Laboratório de Neuropsicofisiologia da Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação da Universidade do Porto desde 2012. Foi investigadora em três projetos "Tomada de decisão intertemporal e perceção do tempo na psicopatia: Um estudo neuropsicofisiológico", "Portuguese Scholar for Innovation" e "Mapeamento temporal do fluxo de informação durante decisões envolvendo preferências: Um estudo com EEG e marcas", os dois primeiros financiados. É revisora de várias revistas internacionais de prestígio (ISI) e esteve envolvida na organização de várias conferências nacionais e internacionais. Colabora na edição de revistas e de publicações científicas e é membro da European Society for Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience (ESCAN), da Association for Psychological Science e da Sociedade Portuguesa de Psiquiatria e Psicologia da Justiça. Além disso, possui sete capítulos de livros e aproximadamente quarenta publicações, tanto nacionais quanto internacionais (muitas das quais são ISI, quartil 1). É (neuro)psicóloga e psicóloga clínica e clínica forense no Instituto de Psicologia e Neuropsicologia do Porto (IPNP).
