Graduated (2021) from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at ULisboa, the resulting written dissertation entitled as "Evaluation of a Biocide Used in the Biological Isolation and Containment Unit of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the FMV-ULisboa" originated in an article for the Antibiotics journal (doi: 10.3390/antibiotics10060639) and won the award Honourable Mention in the Clinical Microbiology Category - Short Communications in the Congress Microbiology 2022 by the Portuguese Society of Microbiology. Experience acquired through various internships such as in the Isolation and Containment Biological Unit and in the Veterinary Bacteriology and Immunology Laboratory both at FMV-ULisboa, as well as in a Veterinary Hospital (BichoMix) located in the center of Lisbon and in an association (Associação São Francisco de Assis) that also shelters the municipal veterinarian of Cascais. Started a Graduate Program from January 2022 until today, which gave way to three published revision articles (https://doi.org/10.3390/antibiotics11070857; https://doi.org/10.1089/mdr.2023.0074; https://doi.org/10.1080/17460913.2024.2393003) and one original research article (https://doi.org/10.3389/fvets.2024.1458069), work which presentation won the Microbiology 2024 award in the Food Microbiology Category - Brief Communications in the Congress Microbiology 2024 by the Portuguese Society of Microbiology. The work developed also gave way to four poster presentations in international congresses and one poster presentation in a national congress, as first author.
