Susana Isabel Almeida Campos holds a PhD in Development, Society and Territory and a master's degree in Economic and Business Sciences from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro and a degree in Biotechnological Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. She is an integrated member and researcher at CISAS (CENTER FOR RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT IN AGROALIMENTARY SYSTEMS AND SUSTAINABILITY, IPVC). She is currently working as a post-doctoral researcher in the Horizon Europe project of the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo - FEAST - Food systems that support transitions to healthy and sustainable diets, funded by the European Union, Swiss Confederation and UK Innovation Fund. She participated as a researcher in several applications to national and international projects. She has worked as a research fellow in several national and international projects in the area of sustainability and agribusiness. She was a consultant/trainer in management and marketing in agri-food companies. She was distinguished with an award "Group of the authors of the best master's theses on the Portuguese Economy, in topics of economics and finance" by Banco de Portugal and the Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation. She has publications in journal articles indexed to isiweb and scopus.
