Claudia Amaral has a PhD in Linguistics/Terminology from the University of Aveiro (UA) and NOVA Social School of Sciences and Humanities (NOVA-FCSH). She has been an Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Accounting and Administration of the University of Aveiro (ISCA-UA) since 2001 where she lectures all English subjects in first cycle degrees and vocational courses. She represents ISCA-UA Languages team and has coordinated International Mobility programs in her department for more than 10 years. She is a full member of the Research Unit on Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policy (GOVCOPP) and a collaborator of the Research Unit on Languages, Literatures and Cultures (CLLC) at the University of Aveiro. She participates regularly as member and coordinator in several international projects and her main research interests are focused on education and internationalization, marketing and tourism, employability, innovation and sustainability.
