Susana Oliveira is Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities at Universidade Aberta. She holds a PhD in English Literature and Culture from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon (2018) and a Master’s in English and American Studies from Universidade Aberta (2009). She is an integrated researcher at the Center for English Studies at the University of Lisbon (CEAUL/ULICES) and a collaborating researcher at UID-FCT nº 4372, LE@D - Distance Education and eLearning Laboratory at Universidade Aberta. Her research focuses on interdisciplinary studies in early modern Anglo-Iberian Diplomacy, English Studies (Literature and Culture), Emotions and e-Learning teaching methodologies, and Gamification in pedagogical contexts. She has participated in national and international research projects in the fields of Early Modern Diplomacy, Early Modern Anglo-Iberian Relations, Literature and Culture, Foreign Language Online Teaching and Distance Education.
