Maria Raquel Teodósio Pacheco concluded her Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry in July 2015 from Universidade Nova de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia and a Master's Degree in Bioorganic Chemistry in June 2019 from the same institution. She presented the dissertation "Desenvolvimento de Novos Biopolímeros Proteicos em Rede", which was located at the interface between the areas of Chemistry and Biology and focused on the chemical modification of a ferritin protein in order to produce supramolecular artificial protein structures. From July 2019 to December 2020, she participated as a Researcher in a project to characterize knowledge, attitudes and literacy aspects regarding vaccination against yellow fever and hepatitis A. Currently, she is attending the Radiation Biology and Biophysics Doctoral Training Programme (RaBBiT), FCT NOVA, in which she intends to develop new protein materials for biotechnological application.
