My research interests lie in the fields of eco-evolutionary physiology and macrophysiology. I am interested in using a system biology approach to understand the mechanisms underpinning species’ plastic and adaptive responses to global change drivers. I graduated in Biology, with a special emphasis in Marine Biology, from the Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR) in 2016 (4.27/4.30 score). I subsequently completed a Master's degree at the same university in 2019 (4.30/4.30 score), where I looked at the cellular mechanisms underpinning plastic changes of fitness-related traits throughout the ontogeny of a marine annelid, in response to ocean warming. During my bachelor summer internships and my master's project, I developed and consolidated my skills in animal experimentation, physiological and life-history measurements, and data analysis. I also attended two international advanced courses to develop new abilities related to bioinformatics tools for genomic data and marine evolution and I undertook a three months’ internship in Sweden during my Master's. Since September 2019, I am enrolled in the Biology PhD program at the Université du Québec à Rimouski, with the co-supervision of a researcher from the University of Aveiro. My work aims to unravel the cellular mechanisms underpinning the within- and transgenerational physiological and life-history responses in marine organisms inhabiting different climatic regions and exposed to multiple global change drivers. I have also contributed to five international collaborative projects, that already resulted in 5 publications in peer-reviewed international journals since 2018. Through my dedication to research and my commitment and participation in outreach activities, I have earned 18 awards and scholarship since 2013, including full scholarships for my Master's and my PhD project, a nomination on the Dean's Honour Roll and an award recognizing the Women Future Leaders.
