I am Pedro Valente, a committed researcher currently pursuing my PhD at the University of Coimbra, actively engaged in a collaborative initiative between the Faculty of Sports Sciences and the Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology. My research focuses on the practical integration of infrared spectroscopy for the analysis and monitoring of physical exercise using biological samples. This innovative approach holds significant potential for advancing our understanding of exercise physiology and its broader implications for health. At present, I am proud to share that I have three publications in prestigious Q1 international journals, showcasing the rigorous nature of my contributions to the field. Additionally, I have presented my work through one oral presentation and one poster at an international congress, further contributing to the dissemination of knowledge. My commitment to the convergence of science and society is exemplified by my belief that research should transcend laboratory confines, directly impacting the lives of individuals. I am passionate about bridging the gap between scientific advancements and societal well-being. If you require further details about my publications or any additional information, please feel free to inquire. I am eager to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge and its application for the betterment of our communities.

2021/11/08 - 2021/11/09 The European Youth Event (EYE2021) took place 8-9 October and brought together 10.000 young people online and in Strasbourg, to shape and share their ideas for the future of Europe. EYE2021 was the culmination of the European Parliament’s youth consultation process for the Conference on the Future of Europe. The top 20 most impactful proposals were consolidated into a Youth ideas report, presented to the Members of the Conference and fed into the political debate.
