I worked as a researcher at AEROG, an aerospace research laboratory associated with LAETA, where I experimentally evaluate the impact of single droplet onto liquid films covering heated walls. This research is part of my Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering at Universidade da Beira Interior, one of the main contributing universities in Portugal for this field of study. My core competencies include SAF, MATLAB, CAD, scientific papers, communication, and laboratory skills, as well as proficiency in Portuguese and English. At AEROG, I work with a team of experienced and talented engineers and professors, who provide me with guidance, feedback, and support. Together, we aimed to contribute towards implementing biofuels in aeronautical internal combustion engines with direct fuel injection, which is a challenging and innovative project that has the potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve fuel efficiency. I am motivated by the opportunity to apply my theoretical knowledge and practical skills to a real-world problem that has a positive impact on the environment and society. I am also eager to learn from the diverse perspectives and experiences of my colleagues and collaborators, and to share my own insights and findings with them.
