Gonçalo P. Rosa is a postdoctoral researcher at cE3c/CHANGE. He holds a PhD in Chemistry, with expertise in natural products research, particularly the sustainable extraction, structural elucidation, and bioactivity evaluation of marine and terrestrial metabolites. His technical skillset includes ultrasound- and microwave-assisted extraction, chromatographic and spectroscopic analysis, molecular docking, and chemical derivatization. He has contributed to 2 international research projects. His scientific output comprises 18 peer-reviewed publications (10 as first author), one book chapter, and 25 conference communications. His current research interests focus on the development of selective isolation methodologies for bioactive natural products and their potential applications in cosmeceutical and pharmacological fields.
