Within my entire academic career, solidly built in the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Coimbra (UC). I started with science even a little earlier, when I was still living in Brazil and was selected by the project Young Talents for Science and Technology from the Ministry of Science in 2012. In Portugal, I focused on transforming my soft skills and hard skills into a platform for technological and scientific growth. I used the tools learned in the Integrated Master in Processes, Environment and Energy to grow in sustainability management. Thus, I was selected to join the cadres of UC interns focused on sustainable entrepreneurship by working on the UCBusiness project. UC contracted me to intern for almost two years for circular economy issues. I had the opportunity to do my master's thesis linked to management for the circular economy, with a focus on electrical and electronic waste. However, as I got deeper into the area, I realised how big top management problems are, always focused on the environmental aspect - which I feel is my purpose in life today. In the internship, I calculated the carbon footprint for the first time in my university, participating in the first sustainability report ever produced here. After this, the UC management contracted me to do our report entirely, giving work to a more refined carbon analysis and deepening the whole ESG part in universities. In this job, I spent four months developing our new ESG reporting guidelines and our quality inventory system in carbon management. When my previous contract ended, I decided to do a PhD research project on sustainable construction, and I have been developing life cycle analyses on construction products. I started dealing with more robust software for environmental impact calculations and saw the panoply of market/academia needs in this area. The UC still count on me for the carbon assessment values and diagnosis. I will continue my research involving decision support mechanisms to facilitate the top management with this "new issue". This is important for the whole environmental management on campus because it will provide accurate diagnostics and roadmaps data, decreasing environmental impacts (primarily carbon) and increasing social and economic impacts. In my resume, the recent work were: • Two internships in UC ( 4 months in the Chemical Engineering Department, one year and eight months in the Vice-Rectory of Innovation and Entrepreneurship); • One summer internship (3 months in a Brazilian enterprise); • One work contract within the Planning, management and development Division of UC Rectory ( 4 months); • Junior Enterprise Founder and VP ( two years); • One research and development contract within ISISE (1 year and six months). In my resume, the recent academic work were: • Three conference papers (one in Portugal, two in Brazil and one in Italy); • Three conference posters (all in Portugal); • One Encyclopedia Chapter; • Two journal articles were published as the first author; • Three ESG reports for the University of Coimbra; • One Book chapter in submission; • One journal article in submission;
