2020/01 - Current Self-employed English language proofreading and copy editing services for academic articles. The majority of assignments are quick-turnaround proofreading and editing of articles and book chapters for Portuguese writers, a small pool of recurring clients looking to publish in British or American English. In addition to language and grammar checks, the majority of academic material stems from the fields of sociology, political science and human rights, for which I am able to bring a little knowledge of the subject matter.
