Helena de Fátima Ribeiro completed the Bachelor in Biochemistry with a final classification of 15 (fifteen) out of 20 by University of Minho in 2017. In 2019, she completed the Masters in Biotechnology with a final classification of 18 (eighteen) out of 20 by University of Minho. In 2020, she holded a research grant in the project "PARTEX [2019]-Development of (bio) molecules' cocktails (including (bio) polymers, enzymes and (bio) surfactants) to promote additional oil recovery" at the Center of Biological Engineering (CEB) at University of Minho. Currently, she is attending the doctoral program in CERES - Chemical Engineering and Renewable Resources for Sustainability at University of Coimbra. Her PhD thesis is focused on the development of an integrated and sustainable platform for the extraction and production of natural colorants from tomato waste.
