Biologist, Master and Ph.D in Oceanography, with emphasis on Biological Oceanography graduated in the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). The areas of expertise include ontogeny, biology and ecology of fish; ecology and conservation of marine and coastal ecosystems. Publications involve the study of the influence of physical-chemical parameters on the distribution of zooplankton, ichthyoplankton and fish (juveniles and adults) in estuaries and oceans; numerical ecology / modeling; modeling of ecological niches and the influence of climate change on marine ecosystems. I am currently a researcher at the Marine and Environmental Sciences Center - MARE-ISPA.
