Marta Sofia dos Santos Soares Valente Clariano. PhD in Pharmacy, specialised in Pharmaceutical and Therapeutic Chemistry, completed in 2025, with a project focused on developing anti-tuberculosis agents targeting the energy metabolism of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and had a PhD grant from FCT. Completed the Master in Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry in 2019 by Universidade de Lisboa Faculdade de Farmácia and BSc in Biochemistry in 2017 by Universidade de Évora Escola de Ciências e Tecnologia. Currently is a researcher on a project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, optimising the synthesis of intermediates of antituberculosis drugs through flow chemistry driven by machine learning and AI. Works in the areas of Medical and Health Sciences with emphasis on Basic Medicine with emphasis on Medicinal Chemistry and Natural sciences with emphasis on Biological Sciences with emphasis on Biochemistry.
