Jaime Oliveira obtained his degree in Psychology from the University of Aveiro in 2021, followed by a Master’s in Health Psychology and Neuropsychology from the same institution in 2023. Throughout his academic trajectory, he has published several articles in reputable international journals and presented his research at multiple international conferences and congresses. He has participated in various research projects as a scientific initiation fellow, research fellow, and collaborator, and he also serves occasionally as a reviewer for specialized journals. In 2022, he was awarded the PARSUK Xperience Scholarship, which enabled a research collaboration with King’s College London, and he has delivered invited lectures at ICBAS (University of Porto) on secondary qualitative research methods. He founded his first company at the age of 19 and currently directs the digital magazine Reconhecer o Padrão. Jaime is presently a PhD student in Biomedicine and Health Sciences at the Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS), School of Medicine, University of Minho, where he investigates the psychological sense of community in older adults. Alongside his research, he holds several institutional responsibilities: he is the representative of PhD Candidates in Biomedicine and Health Sciences; the postgraduate student representative on the Pedagogical Council of the School of Medicine; the School of Medicine representative to ORPHEUS, where he contributes to the promotion of best practices in doctoral education; and the School of Medicine representative at the University of Minho’s Doctoral College. He also serves as a student evaluator for A3ES, participating in external quality assessment and accreditation procedures.
