Degree and Master's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Porto. Currently a PhD student in Mathematics from the Universities of Porto and Coimbra. I have a grant sponsored by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT, Portugal). I am studying the moduli space of Higgs bundles, namely its nilpotent cone. The goal, broadly speaking, is to gain a better understanding of its geometry through the study of the action of the non-zero complex numbers on the moduli space.
