My professional scientific profile and my career as a Professor in Organizational Information Systems, Entrepreneurship and Pedagogical Innovation, in distance learning and virtual leadership, with a doctorate in Information Systems and a doctorate in management, with a master's degree in systems and information technologies and the degree in management informatics, as well as the training in co-creation of innovation in co-creation processes using the Finnish Demola Global methodology, are fully aligned and dedicated to collaborating in an ambitious HEI environment that emphasizes excellence and inclusion through the development and coordination of innovative learning courses and projects (for example, I currently coordinate the 7th edition in Co-creation of Innovation with Demola Global methodology that involves IPSantarém teachers for periods of six months, as well as the coordination of the Poliempreende Competition (generation of ideas) where, now in its 20th edition, more than twenty Portuguese HEIs participate, including Polytechnics, Universities and non-aligned schools). My responsibility at the Polytechnic University of Santarém focuses on different areas, occupying a challenging position: a) MANAGEMENT: Pro-President for the Area of Internationalization and Cooperation, responsible for the development of innovative activities, capable of boosting the connection between academia and society with our international partners; development and creation of the RIAL network (Rede Internacional Académica da Lusofonia) where, in addition to being President of the Network's Installation Committee, I promoted the first elections for the presidency, assumed the current role of Executive Secretary by appointment and received in recognition the title of Honorary Member of RIAL . RIAL is a Network that currently has 42 HEIs from Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Portugal, Mozambique and São Tomé and Príncipe. b) R&D: Knowledge transfer, pedagogical innovation, co-creation processes and national and international entrepreneurship, with diversity and leadership in different EU projects; promotion of in-person and virtual conferences on emerging R&D topics; Juries; Coordinator of the Exact Sciences and Engineering Area of the UI_IPSantarem Research Unit and member of the Scientific Council of the Research Center for Digital Literacy and Social Inclusion; Creation and establishment of new protocols to enrich internationalization; Coordinator for the Technology Area at the University of Santiago in Cape Verde. c) Assistant Professor: focused on OPEN learning opportunities and activities created in a flexible and innovative environment. I use the most current pedagogical approaches (active learning and PBL) transversal to my experience as a face-to-face Professor at IPSantarém and Virtual Guest Professor at the University of Santiago in Cape Verde, as well as being responsible for the creation, implementation and training of technicians and teaching staff on the Moodle platform, namely at the University of Santiago in Cape Verde and at the Instituto Superior Politécnico de Gaza in Mozambique. Furthermore, the Research Group will apply a new PhD in the area of Digital Communication that responds to the needs of SOCIETY in an entrepreneurial environment in which I find myself participating.
