Graça Canto Moniz holds a PhD in data protection law (NOVA School of Law). Since 2019 she has held the South EU Google Data Governance Chair at NOVA. Since 2020 she has been an assistant professor at Lusófona University, coordinating the Master in Public Law. Currently, she is also the CEO of FUTURA, a consulting boutique focused on data protection and cybersecurity. Her research is mostly focused on data protection law and related issues.
