Cátia Oliveira is a research fellow in the Group of Power Electronics and Energy (GEPE) since 2019. Her developing research activities are in the scope of the project "newERA4GRIDs - New Generation of Unified Power Conditioner with Advanced Control, Integrating Electric Mobility, Renewables, and Active Filtering Capabilities for the Power Grid Improvement" financed by FCT. She received the master's degree in Industrial Electronics and Computers Engineering from the University of Minho in 2018. In parallel with the work as a researcher, she was invited teacher at the University of Minho, where taught Circuit Analysis II to first-year students of the Integrated Master in Industrial Electronics and Computers Engineering. Her research interests are power quality, active power filters, electric vehicle battery chargers, renewable energy sources and fault analysis in DC-DC converters. She is the author/co-author of eight scientific articles and author of one journal article. She was awarded the Best Paper on Sustainable Energy for Smart Cities (SESC) international conference in 2019. Also, she reviewed several conference articles in order to contribute to the scientific community.
