Gonçalo Filipe Rodrigues Garcia. Completed his PhD in Pharmacy in 2022 by Universidade de Lisboa Faculdade de Farmácia, Master in Molecular Biology and Genetics in 2014 by Universidade de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências and Bachelor in Biotechnology in 2011 by Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra. Currently, he holds a postdoctoral research contract at Associação da Faculdade de Farmácia para a Investigação e Desenvolvimento (FARM-ID). Has been enrolled as Team member in 3 projects, and Co-PI in another. In 2023 was granted a Junior postdoctoral position at FFULisboa (2023.06422.CEECIND), in the competitive FCT Individual Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus - 6th Edition, with the project: Analyzing Hijacking exosomes to overcome Alzheimer's disease heterogeneity and develop alternative personalized therapeutics. Published 12 articles in scientific peer-reviewed international journals, 6 as the first author. Has 1 book chapter also as first author. Delivered 29 oral presentations and 39 posters at national and international scientific meetings. Has received 5 awards and/or honors. Participated and organized multiple social and scientific events. Co-supervised 8 MSc dissertation(s).
