Daniela dos Santos Oliveira is a researcher in the fields of chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, and materials science. She completed her PhD in Chemical Engineering in February 2025 at the University of Coimbra. She holds a Bachelor’s degree (2012) and a Master’s degree (2014) in Biomedical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. Her work has focused on the development and study of polymer-based materials and nanomaterials for biomedical and technological applications. She has also participated in several research projects as a PhD fellow and researcher, showing the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. She has authored over 16 peer-reviewed publications and currently holds an h-index of 7, with more than 207 citations. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Engineering of the Polytechnic of Porto (ISEP), where she continues to carry out research on polymers and nanomaterials for biomedical applications.
