Andrés Eloy Redondo Soto is a PhD student from the Doctoral Program in Chemical and Biological Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. He finished his Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering in 2020 at the University of Pamplona. The master's thesis work was carried out in the field of gas absorption using ionic liquids and deep eutectic solvents, which was published as article in an internationally recognized peer review journal. After finishing his master's degree, he successfully applied to a first-stage researcher position in the European project KET4F-Gas "Reduction of the Environmental Impact of Fluorinated Gases in the Sudoe space using Key Enabling Technologies". During this period, he acquired knowledge in fluorinated gas handling, gas absorption using ionic liquids (ILs) and deep eutectic solvents (DES) as adsorbents and the respective synthesis and characterization of these solvents. Furthermore, he have worked as project researcher in the process, product and energy group of the Laboratory for Process Engineering, Environment, Biotechnology and Energy (LEPABE) of the University of Porto where he started to work on June 2022. As a Project Researcher he was responsible for 1) the preparation, assembly and scaling up of inverted perovskite solar cells using different rigid substrates, as fluorine doped tin oxide (FTO) and indium tin oxide (ITO) coated on glass, and flexible substrates as ITO coated on polyethylene terephthalate, 2) the photovoltaic characterization including the characteristic I-V curve and determination of the photovoltaic parameters.
