From an early age I have favored drawing as a tool for representation and plastic experimentation. I am interested in reflecting on what lies beyond the inherent nature of drawing, situating it between bi- and three-dimensionality within a logic of hyperdrawing. My motivation intertwines with what is potentially generated by the momentary and disposable spaces of the city (tents, barricades, fences, scaffold structures), assuming them as the main means of thought and conception of practice. This is a theme explored in depth in the doctoral project "Without Space: Disposable architecture in the city – A drawing based-research" (FBAUP, 2023) based on spatial experience in different European cities: Barcelos (PT), Porto (PT), Helsinki (FN) and Bilbao (SP). Since 2011, I have regularly exhibited, participating in exhibitions (individual and collective), biennials, and competitions. Still within the artistic field, I have collaborated in the organization of exhibitions, seminars, and workshops, as well as participating in conferences and publishing in books within the field. Currently, I work as a visual artist, researcher at i2DAS and Drawing lecturer at the University of Minho.
