Mafalda Ferreira-Manso is a Research Trainee at Instituto de Medicina Molecular João Lobo Antunes Instituto de Farmacologia e Neurociências, Faculdade de Medicina, Universidade de Lisboa. She has completed a bachelor¿s degree in Biochemistry and a master in medical Biochemistry both from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa. Since a very young age she was fascinated by the mysteries around the functioning of the human brain. She was able to follow the path she wanted in the area of neurosciences and is part of a group that aims to study the impact of a mechanism that is impaired in various neurological disorders, including Alzheimer¿s disease.
