I finished Pharmaceutical Sciences (MSc) in December of 2016 at Universidade do Algarve, Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia. After a 6-month period abroad, in Lyon, I returned to Portugal. In 2018, I started developing his PhD project at Universidade do Algarve - Campus de Gambelas finishing in 2023 in the area of pharmaceutical technology allied with biomedical sciences. The works performed were related to the production, characterisation and therapeutic evaluation of polysaccharide-based micro and nanoparticles envisaged for lung drug delivery. Moreover, my PhD project focused also on the methodological and analytical development of an insufflation device for in vitro tests. At present, I work as an Analytical Scientist at Hovione Farmaciência, S.A..
