Over the past years, I have had the opportunity to gain valuable experience through research positions at CBQF-ESB, LEPABE-FEUP, the Kaplan Lab and ICTP-CSIC (Portugal, Spain and USA). My work has primarily focused on natural-based materials, encompassing process optimization, particle production, and the development of hydrogels and scaffolds for tissue engineering, which includes bioinks and in vitro models. I'm also passionate about bridging the gap between academia and healthcare technology implementation, with a background in both Biomedical Engineering and Healthcare Economics and Management. I'm a highly motivated person eager to contribute to innovative biotechnology projects that drive progress in the field.
