Inês Macário is a Researcher at the National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA), Madrid. She is currently developing the project MarCyan, as a postdoc MSCA (https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/101108587). Inês completed the Ph.D. program in Biology at Universidade de Aveiro in 2022, with the thesis title "Application of the biorefinery concept in cyanobacterial blooms valorization", and the Master in Management and Environmental Policy in 2013 by Universidade de Aveiro, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and Universidade de Évora, and the Degree in Biology in 2011 (Universidade de Aveiro). Published 22 SCI papers, plus a book chapter, (h-index 7, >250 citations), and has received 2 awards. She has co-authored 41 communications (14 oral and 27 poster) and participated in the projects EPIBOOST, Refinecyano, and ToxMix.
