I graduated in Applied Biology at University of Minho in 2006. In the beginning of 2015 I concluded my master thesis at University of Minho with the subject “Audience effects in Oreochromis mossambicus males on a territorial intrusion context”. My professional experience extends to management of fish facilities, nature conservation, monitoring of environmental impact, and environmental characterization of freshwater habitats. Since my entry in 2012 in Oliveira Lab I’ve deepened my knowledge in behavioural neuroendocrinology, specifically with fish model species. I currently collaborate with ISPA as coordinator of the institution's ORBEA. I am also responsible for the facility for aquatic organisms, ensuring the maintenance of the animal stocks through the management of: a) animal welfare; b) breeding; c) experiments taking place in the facility; d) material stock; e) control of physical-chemical parameters; f) food; and g) maintenance of aquariums and sanitary conditions in the facility.
