Carolina Oliveira Santos is a Lecturer in Marketing at Technology and Management School of Portalegre (ESTG) - Dep. Of Economic Sciences and Organizations, since 2003. She concluded her PhD in Marketing and Strategy in 2018 by the consortium between the University of Aveiro, University of Beira Interior and University of Minho, with the thesis entitled "The Satisfaction of Alumni of Higher Marketing Courses: an Approach to the Structuring Elements of Loyalty". Since 2007, she has been participating in several international projects with research interest in the thematic area of Marketing and Education in order to understand students' motivation, expectations and degree of satisfaction. She also develops research in the e|blearning process, online tutorials and how the teacher / student relationship develops in the process of learning and on the most effective knowledge building processes and methods, as well as the transition to the labor market. Direct contact with professionals specialized in this theme and with students are the ways found to enrich pedagogical training, in a logic of lifelong learning. Since 2013, she has been part of the Pedagogical Team of the Distance Learning Office - GED-IPPortalegre. In 2020, she assumed the Coordination of the Advertising and Marketing Administration Course, being also Coordinator of the Internship Committee. In 2021, she was invited to be Assistant Coordinator of the Department of Economic and Organizational Sciences. She is also a member of the Technical-Scientific Council and she was a collaborating member of Valoriza - Research Center for the Valorization of Endogenous Resources.
