Henrique Muga

Degree in Psychology (UP, 1986), Master in Social Psychology (UP, 1998), and PhD in Social Sciences - Art Psychology research line, with the thesis "The imaginary in the filmography of João César Monteiro" (UFP, 2015). Assistant Professor at ESAP, in the area of social sciences, since 1987. Founding member of the Arnaldo Araújo Study Center (1999), and coordinator of the "Space in Cinema" research axis of the Cinema Studies Group (since 2020). Author of several articles and books in the areas of cinema, architecture and anthropology. He coordinated several research, divulgation and artistic creation projects, namely: "International Cycle of Reflection Devices in Contemporary Artistic Practice", ESAP, 2011 (co-organizer); "Urban Art - Intervention in Electricity Boxes", Porto, 2015 (in partnership with Porto Lazer); "Graffiti research project and urban landscape of Porto", 2016; "Mogadouro Cinematographic Artistic Residency", Mogadouro, 2019 (in partnership with the Director of the Cinema and Audiovisual Course at ESAP); "International Conference ON CINEMA", ESAP, Porto, 2022 (co-organizer).
