Inês Ferreira obtained her master's degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, in November 2017, by Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (FCT NOVA). After that, she worked within a research fellowship under a national project at FCT NOVA (March to August 2018). Currently, she is a PhD student in Chemical and Biological Engineering, at Laboratory of Membrane Processes, LAQV/REQUIMTE, at FCT NOVA, working on the development of biopolymeric structures using biocompatible ionic liquids for skin drug delivery. Up to now Inês Ferreira published 4 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, 3 as first author and 1 as co-author. Additionally, her work has been presented in 8 scientific communications (4 oral and 4 poster).
