Maria Eduarda da Rocha Pinto Augusto da Silva is Associate Professor with Aggregation at the School of Economics and Managment of the University of Porto. She obtained the habilitation in 2015/01/16 at Universidade do Porto , Doctor of Philosophy in Statistics in 1994/06/07 and Master in Science (Statistics) in 1998/10/01 at The University of Manchester and Licenciatura em Matemática - Ramo Aplicada in 1985/07/27 at the Universidade do Porto Faculdade de Ciências. She is Director of the Data Analytics Master . She has 65 peer reviwed publications in journals , procceedings e book chapters. She has been publishing in international journals,such as Journal Time Series Analysis, Journal of Multivariate Analysis, AStA Advances in Statistical Analysis, Spatial Statistics, Test, Statistical Papers. She has supervised/co-supervised 10 PhD theses and more than 20 MSc thesis. She is researcher in one funded project. Her research interests are in time series analysis and forecasting, both in methodological developments as well as applications in areas such as: environment, geosciences, biomedicine, economics.
