Luís Paupério, 1987, Doctoral Candidate, University of Porto. Master in Architecture, 2011 (Escola Superior Artística do Porto); founding partner of escritóriopequeno: arquitectura, 2017; researcher at i2ADS - Research Institute in Art, Design and Society, 2017-2022. Currently a Visiting Researcher at Aalto University (School of Arts, Design and Architecture; Department of Art and Media), he is working on his PhD dissertation in Art Education, financed by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT reference 2023.01167.BD), under the supervision of Juuso Tervo, PhD. (Aalto University; School of Arts, Design and Architecture; Department of Art and Media), and co-advised by Catarina Almeida, PhD (University of Porto, Faculty of Fine Arts, i2ADS). His research focuses on the language of art education, articulating different frameworks such as philosophy of education, philology, critical theory, literary theory, aesthetics and critical history. He has participated in several international conferences and workshops, such as: the Nordic Educational Research Association Conference; the European Conference on Educational Research; the Finnish Educational Research Association Conference; the NW29 Winter School; the Encounter on Practices of Research in Art Education; and the International Encounter on Art Education. He enjoys listening to music, drawing, cooking and sharing meals, amongst other things.
